  14. omfg people, if it’s making you barf, why are you looking at it? that guy can’t help that he has that kind of cancer. . . people please, psh, i hope people say they wanna barf at you when you have a type of sickness. this man can’t help it. i think he’s beautiful. he has to deal with that. can he move his hands? can he walk? i feel so bad for this man. omg. poor guy. . . he’s an attractive man, and if you look past the bark . . . (i think it’s bark, if not, then the fungus that looks like bark) he’s a beautiful man.

    and you’ll have to take it up with me if you don’t like it. i think this man should be beautiful becaause of what he goes through. and when you’re going through that one day, don’t go crying to people for sympothy, because you’re not gonna get it because you were saying you’re gonna barf at his sickness.

  15. I saw a documentary on this guy, Dede Koswara, and he’s really a kind soul. Sadly, though, the only way he can make money is at a circus with a few other people just about as fortunate as him. I believe that he is a lot braver and a much better person than those of you who think he is ugly, or makes you want to vomit. If I can ever meet a person as willful and kind-hearted as Dede, my hope in the human race will be restored unquestionably.

    Keep an open mind, I beg you.

    (Also, he has recently come through surgery on his hands and feet, removing I think 20 pounds of the ‘roots’ before his scheduled marriage.)

I agree that at a first glance, it is a little alarming, but for starters, I’m sure he didn’t ASK to develop this one in a million condition…secondly, I bet he IS one of the kindest people on this planet. I congratulate him on his marriage, and wish him all the best… for those of you who think he’s ugly and makes you sick — go back to your stupid, close-minded opinionated lives and leave those who are less fortunate than you to themselves. I’m sure he TRULY appreciates that he makes you sick — when the day comes that you or someone you love is afflicted with an appearance altering disorder, or even a disease that is uncurable, I hope you think back on your oh-so-kind comments, and feel like utter shit.

  28. I relate to this guy in a small way, I had a time when I became allergic to my horomnes when I was pregnant and I broke out with boils it was crazy!! No one ask for random @#$% to come into their lives. I ask for a little human spirit and compassion. If that’s not possible lets follow the rule our mothers taught us ” If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all” Just a thought.

  36. wow, seriously, that is the most amazing image i have ever seen. im glad that he is getting married because everyone needs love, and his wife is an amzing women to see byond what he appears to be. i would bet he is an incredibly humble and wise person, having to deal with his condition. and for those of you who say such rude things, what is your problem? imagine living like that, and then to have someone say such things about yourself! i would be very grateful to even meet this man!!
